I have a 2005 140hp 4-stroke and it wont hold an idle for more than a few seconds, then stalls. I can rev the engine and it will hold, but once I drop it back to idle, it stalls after a few seconds.
Engine only has about 120 hours on it and is clean/well maintained. I have changed out all the gas, fuel lines & bulb, fuel intake tube and hardware, spark plugs, low pressure fuel filter, high pressure fuel filter as well as put in a new water pump impeller and housing. Everything I've read said the next step is to change out the IAC as the spring in it is not closing the air intake valve fully and causing the engine to stall. There are no warning lights and the last time I had a diagnostic on it, nothing came up as an issue.
Anything else I may have missed?
