New Owner Needs Help

Good Evening;

I acquired a 1966 sears 15' recently, equipped with what I believe to be a 73 Johnson 65hp outboard. My biggest problem right now is the steering piston that goes through the mount is frozen/stuck. Is there a way to free this? Or a sufficient bypass available? I am really looking forward to my family and I putting some time into restoring and sailing this boat. So any help would be appreciated. There also appears to be trim pistons as well, but cannot find controls or a pump that would operate them.







 
Ayuh,... Ya might have to Beat the old cable outa the tilt tube, the ssteel seizes into the aluminum tube, due to a lack of grease,....

The ram ya see, could just be a shock, not a tilt ram,.... donno,...
