Evinrude 90 hp Wiring Harness red 8 pin plug 0584390

Hello

I have a 90 hp Evinrude cross flow engine that has a badly corroded wiring harness, E90TXARC. I have looked online to find the OMC part 0584390 but this part is obsolete. I have managed to find a second hand one and will fit this to get up and running.

What I am thinking is to make a new wiring loom form the old one, has anybody done this? If so what gauge wire did you use? Solder the old connectors on new wire? Or even better does anyone have a NOS one lying around that they wish to sell?

need to recheck your model # don't think there is an A in it. Have you been on e-bay and right here at iboats? Others may chime in to give you places to check. Good luck
