1995 Force 90 Hp Primer system

Hello All,
I am working on a 1995 Force 90 Hp S/N OE104323 and I have a few questions.
1. How is the primer system supposed to work? Is fuel injected into the intake manifold just past the carbs? Is fuel injected at each carb?

2. I have a leak at the carb/intake mount when I prime the engine. It is just a drop or two but if it leaks fuel it will suck air. This leak is on the center and lower carbs. Is this typical of this motor? I have never seen an outboard leak like this unless a gasket is messed up. Please advise with your thoughts on the leak.

The hose that feeds from the primer goes to a nipple that might need a hose clamp?
Need pics of the carb, both sides.
They made a few different carbs and some fed differently.
Some from the nipple and some from the bottom of the carb.
They usually shot a bit of fuel into the float bowl and it went up into the venturi sending extra fuel into the cylinders.
The pics will help figure out what you have.

Check the gaskets between the carb and the intake.

Pulled carbs and there were no gaskets installed.
Replaced gaskets and leak has gone away.
