Hi All, Looking for help. I have a 1979 Mercury. It idles good maybe a tad fast but ok. As I throttle up it runs sluggish and rough, continue pushing throttle up and all of a sudden it jumps (not leaver just motor) to wide open! I can't tell if it's a cable problem or carb jet something. I'm not a mechanic try to fix some stuff just can't tell which way to start. Any help is greatly appreciated.
