I'm moving the battery to the center console and the one way length from the engine starter and engine ground to the battery is 15 feet. This is for my 1993 Yamaha 115 hp Pro-V. Looking online all I find is for OMC for the 1980's and 1990's and it calls for 2 AWG for 11'-15'. I can't find anything for Yamaha. Sure would prefer less bulky cables like 4 AWG. Any one have experience with this size engine's cabling for longer lengths like mine?
QUESTION 2: Do two cables of 2 AWG even fit through the grommet opening with all the other wires and hoses that go under the cowl?
