Are there obvious first steps

Are there obvious first steps in diagnosing the reason why a starter solenoid would burn out? The battery is fully charged.

" Stsrter solenoids are like any other part, that is they all wear out. If you are having repeated failure of the solenoid, you may have a loose connection, inadequate wire size or even a moisture problem.
