We were out on Lake Michigan for a cruise and on the way back, I started to get an audio alarm (2 beeps) every 5 minutes. Checked all gauges (twin 5.0L Merc) and all was good. Got back in the slip, turned engines off and heard a small motor running on the port side of my port engine. Turned batt switch off and the motor stopped. Engine felt warmer than other engine. Could it be oil sending unit?
