Hi, I have been told the Mariner outboard motors were built by Yamaha, is this correct ?, I was wondering if anyone knows the compression ratio for these engines , I have just been given one and its not running, It has spark and compression (want to check)
Can anyone shed any light as to why it wont start, it has spark, it has compression and I was spraying petrol into the carby (no fuel tank yet)
