Tilt and trim issue

New member
power trim motor works.. Will trim down, but not up.. When fill cap is removed to fill, hydraulic fluid runs back out when trimming down. Sometimes fluid will run back out when I manually lift motor back up.. Releif vaulve is tight with new seal/o-rings

I have same issue with 89 Mercury 85 HP. Did you solve this problem?
