During idle runs out of gas

2002 250 Mercury fuel injector. During idle runs out of gas from water separator forward. Have replaced primer bubble , filters and hose from tank to motor, rebuilt fuel pump a couple of months ago. can pump bubble then it will start, runs great at idle till it runs everything out of the gas line then it will die.

You have : 1) Air leak at a connection 2) wrong filter or doubled gasket on filter 3) mechanical fuel pump problem
