force 1997 2 stoke 40 hp. Before doing any of this it ran great just time to time would click and not start. Replaced starter, then checked solenoid ( tried the connect solenoid contacts and it cranked but didt start), got a new one and it turns over now but wont run. turns over great! I tried something, putting the throttle all the way up, it started ran real ruff and smoked like crazy, I throttled it down and as soon as I got to 2/3 throttle it stalled. I pulled the plugs and the top one had black oil on it, the bottom one was dry. ?????? IM not a mechanic,just know a little.
