Steam rising from exhaust when RPMs go up

When we run for a couple of hours at 800 TO 1500 rpm and then increase to 3000 RPM we see steam in the exhaust of the starboard engine. Is this normal? Both impellers were replaced this spring and I am getting good water flow through the exhaust. I shot both engines and exhausts with an infra red thermometer and they are almost the same. One motor steams and the other doesn't. New to through hull exhaust.

I've seen that many times on my 360s as well, occasionally just the one engine . It's a phenomenon, but not a problem UNLESS the temps start climbing.

Since you wisely checking temps with the infrared gun--smart man!--you're probably okay.
