New Carb question - any reason not to bolt on straight out of the box?

I just bought a new Tohatsu carb for my Mercury 5hp 4 stroke outboard, and all looks exactly the same except for 1 jet.

My question is, would there be any reason NOT to take the new carb right out of the box and bolt in place? Is there something else I need to do?

Bolt it on. Did you get the carb for the MFS6A2? That is the winner for that motor.
