Good day, I am looking to purchase a boat with two volvo penta tamd63p engines, Question, there's motors were discontinued in 2005 which is the year of the boat, do they still make spares for these motors and what are your thoughts regarding purchasing this vessel with these motors, thanks Dave
 
Parts are still available for the 63. It's a good engine. I still see quite a few of them at work. As in any situation I wouldn't buy anything without a good engine survey being performed.
