Engine Model number is J150ELEOM. Engine is a 1995 150 HP Johnson V6. Problem is that the engine always over heats 2-3 mins into WOT, but doesn't overheat any other time. RPM range it starts over heating is from 4800-5500. Parts replaced were: New fuel pump, Water pump, New fuel lines, New champion Spark plugs, New thermostats, carburetors rebuilt, fuel filter replaced, water separator replaced.
Now that I have done all of this I don understand why the engine is overheating 4600-5500 WOT2-3 mins into acceleration. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The engine has great compression and also has no air leaks either. I have been trying to fix this issue for 3 months now.
