Please help... No spark after new stator, rectifier, trigger and switch box

I have a '95 115 Merc, OG279364...

I melted a stator and rectifier. I've replaced the rectifier, stator, trigger and switch box. No spark following any of the new parts. The parts are all new except for trigger (OEM and tests good) new stator is CDI, new Switch box is Sierra.

Battery is good and putting out 14 cranking volts.

$&*#%$!!!!

So... what are recommended next steps?

I'm this far in with new parts and while I don't want to throw money away, I'm doing the work myself to learn as much as I can, so if the best next step is going directly to a part replacement, I'll do it.

I'm unable to find a DVA in any businesses in the area so only option is another 3-4 days just getting that in.

I have access to a boat part supplier.

Good news... i've now narrowed it down... I disconnected the stop switch wires from the switch box and it fired immediately.

So........

Did you check to see if kill switch is tripped??
