irregular miss on 2000 70hp Johnson

I have a 2000 70hp Johnson (J70PLSSD) that has a irregular miss, it's like turning the ignition switch off then right back on again. This condition happens at any rpm above idle and it is not consistant, it may run fine for 30 minuates then miss ( more violent with increased rpm) once and run fine the rest of the day, then again at another time it might do this 5 or 6 times in 10 minutes. I am totaly confused, any help would be greatly appreciated. Other than the missfire the motor starts and runs great..

Guess I will have to find a mechanic, because I don't have the meters to test the electronics. Thanks for the help.
