1986 4.3 Remote Starter Hook up?

When connecting a remote started switch for checking compression on a 1996 4.3. Do I connect to the two large lugs on the starter slave? Thanks for all info given.
 
You could also power the S terminal right at the starter motor solenoid.


Be sure to run through at least 3 compression cycles per cylinder during your test... which may mean up to 7 crankshaft revolutions per.
