BMW b220 and MK1 sterndrive - no drive to leg

Hi,

While cruising along there was a sudden bang from between the engine and leg, and after that no drive to the leg.
I have pulled the leg off of the boat, and there appears to be no internal damage. The u-joints in the drive shaft between the motor and the leg are OK, but the gimble bearing appears to be quite badly worn. I can also turn the driveshaft freely, which indicates that it is no longer connected to the engine. I am wondering if anyone has any insight into the repair process, and parts needed to get this fixed. I have looked in the parts catalog and it appears that i will need the parts shown in the photo attached.

I am also wondering if anyone has any idea where parts are available in north america (if they are at all)...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi
Rich Langtry of V12 engeneering. wwwbmwmarine.com
parts are tight in N.A. but there is a good network worldwide.
You will have to pull the engine/remove the bellhousing and r&r
the clutch plate and or the drive shaft and bearings with seals.
good luck
