Engine oil.

Hello,

I have a 30hp 2 stroke Mariner, and my mate swears there should be engine oil in it to cover the crank, i didnt think there was! Someone shed some light on this please? There is no obvious filler, but i am sure the crank would need lubricating somehow?

This is a 2 stroke,the crank,cyls,upper and lower bearings are lubricated by the oil that is not burned off during combustion.There is no oil sump.
