trim/tilt issue

I have a 2001 140hp Nissan and the trim seals and piston cap need to be replaced. It is a Showa tilt/trim unit and I am having problems locating parts. Question is, are the seals and caps universal for multiple engine types? I am able to find parts on Yamaha sites and the diagrams look identical. Will those seals and piston caps work?
 
Year is irrelevant; precise model/serial is critical. If your serial is above 12174, parts are available for both the tilt section and the trim section of the TT assembly.
 
Thanks for the reply Paul. The serial number is 13889 so it sounds like I'm in luck! Where do you recommend for parts? is there a website or dealer you use?
