I have a 1985 Evinrude 20 hp. I need assistance for choosing two-stroke oil.
Evinrude XD30, XD50 and XD100 oil is recommended for all 1993 and newer motors. Well my motor is a 1985.
XD 50 2-Cycle Oil says it's for hard running. Does that mean 5000 RPMs and up. The XD 30 says for light running, does that mean you're a ***** don't get on the throttle. Is it safe using this modern oil in my older motor.
Next is the fuel additive.

Should I add this to every tankful or just in the fall when I winterize and fog the motor for the winter
