Hi Guy's, I have a 2000 Johnson 150 hp carbed 60 degree OIS motor. I have been using this motor for past 5 years and it has always been hard to start on first start of the day. Have had it on two different boats and it ran the same. I have to put the throttle all the way down and hold the key in. It takes about 8 try's. When it finally starts I have to pull back fast to not over rev. It's time to fix this annoying problem. Most that I ask say those engines were temperamental? Any suggestions on where to start? Thanks
