This is on a pontoon boat, my throttle is stuck open, I started across the lake slow and eased the throttle open to full, but when I tried to back off it wouldn't slow down. The throttle lever will move, but the carbs stay full open. Anyone know what I can do??
 
If you disconnect the throttle linkage from the carburettor, does the throttle plate close? By separating the components you can determine where it is sticking. If it is the throttle plate you will need to check the return spring and perhaps disassemble the carburettor to clean the pivot pin.
