Finally all parts are in and I am assembling my powerhead on my 1962 DU-10S the OMC manual stated rod oil hole faces forward towards flywheel. But this is not the way my rods were marked on teardown . (I had used a dremel disc to mark all my bearing caps to help on assembly) Looks like the rods faced the oil injection ports on the cylinder wall - forward on two cylinders and to the rear on the other two. No longer being oil injected would this really make a difference with new pistons , pins and all new roller bearings. Any help would be appreciated.
