I have a 2005 Johnson 150 HP Bombardier, the hot engine alarm goes off when I am averaging 5000 RPMs for 3to 5 miles. I turn the engine off to reset. I start it and as long as it runs below 4500 RPMs, I don't get any alarm. The water pressure is 130+. I had the water pump replaced last year. Could it be a temperature switch bad? Why at only high RPM's? What is the max RPM's this motor should turn? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
