I have a side mounted control with trim/tilt switch at the tip of the arm.
I pressed in the button that allows you to put the transmission into neutral. The control handle appeared to be stuck and I pushed more than usual and the control handle went forward as usual.
I started the engine and pulled the control handle back to the locked position. When I lifted the button to put the transmission into reverse it was still in neutral. I can not get the transmission into forward or reverse.
Does anyone know how to remove the combing that the control is attached to so I can remove the control system? There are 4 screws that hold the control unit to the combing as a side mount system and if these are removed the unit it too large to come out through the hole.
Just as our weather is great!
