omc kink cobra vs cobra

i am working on a 1989 cobra out drive that is siezed up. to separate the upper from lower is it the same on a cobra as it is for a king cobra?
 
Two different animals. The cobra just take all the bolts out between the two halves, lift up, turn the shift shaft 1/4 turn and up it goes. Be careful the inter. driveshaft doesn't fall on your toes.
