Thread: Bigger prop

    Default Bigger prop

Hi, I have a 60hp mercury on a Bella512 excel. The motor has a max rpm on 6000 but I can take it to approx 6500 on max. I will then have ca28knop on my boat. I feel I can have a bigger prop on this to get a more effektive run without high rpm. The prop on is 10,5" 13" what is the next stage on prop and what to expect.

What year is your outboard, or better, what's the serial #?
