extending minn kota cable...

greetings,

i have never done this before and wanted to know if this is the correct cable to extend my minn kota cable. i wish to mount my battery forward in the bow of my skiff so need to extend the cable.

this is #14 wire and #15 is rated at 15 amps...you need a larger wire for almost all trolling motors...
