Looking for some professional advise. Last season I had an issue with the tilt only working in the up direction. After checking the fluid level and checking the pump motor and relay function, I ended up pulling the unit and found a sheared O-ring on one of the hydraulic check valves, which apparently was by-passing fluid. Obviously the valve could not seal and allow the fluid to port correctly. I replaced the o-ring and the unit worked great for the next couple of outings before I put the boat away for the year. The first time out this year I have the same tilt issue. So I figured maybe the O-ring had sheared again. However, after pulling the unit out again and inspecting the valve, it appears the o-ring is intact and the valve bodies look to be sealing correctly. Long story short, I cannot figure what other issue it could possibly be.
