hey everyone, so im new to this site.. bought my second boat recently with a 90 hp v4 vro evinrude. i know nothing really about boat motors, im an automotive and jet mechanic (f-16) in the air guard. my questions are, what spark plugs would be recommended for my engine? also lower unit oil? I have had the boat out a couple times, it is a hard starter.. the first time i had it out finally got it running ..warmed it up cruised a bit and decided to full thottle it, went about 33 mph according to gps but when i pushed the throttle down it stalled. i have a can of seam foam in the gas tank just incase the gas that was in there (about a gallon) was old and yes i topped the 6 gallon gas tank with fresh. it leaks fuel as well.. seems like just after shutting the motor off. i found one small hose that was dry rotted so i replaced that. any other concerns or areas i should look out for on this motor? thanks in advance for any help for this not so good boat mechanic lol.
