I just bought a 82 Larson Wildcat with the 79 1150. This is my first boat. We went out first time boat started up ran about 2 miles up river and slowly stalled out. Started right up. Did this two more time. Took boat out and brought it home. Checked the 6 gallon temp tank and sedament in bottom so I replaced it. Tryed boat next day boat ran better then stalled about same place on river but wouldn't start again. Had to get towed back. Thank you for any help in advance
 
Sounds like she has sucked up some dirt.Time to pull the carbs,strip and clean,soak in carb cleaner,blast all orifices with air,giving their age and unknown history,a rebuild mightn't go amiss.Would do no harm to change fuel lines if they are old,ethanol is a pain,rots the old lines.
Clean the tank and line from tank to engine.
