hi we need to replace (or replace a part in?) our 1983 evinrude 90 hp (serial/model number E90TLCTE). We see that there are 3 possible starter motors - does it matter which one? The id tag on our existing starter motor seems to be gone
is it possible to try to just open it up and fix a part inside it? the small wheel on top of the starter goes up but does not come down to connect to engine - when we manipulate the starter motor we can hear loose debris inside Thank you so much for your help in advance Just want to get the right part as I see alot of places do not allow refunds/returns.
