Honda BF2 leaking fuel from carb / fuel shutoff lever

Last year I bought a used Honda 2 aircooled (I think its about a 2006).

Runs great, but It leaks fuel out of the fuel shut off lever on the side -- technically this apparatus is attached to the carb. I took the whole thing apart (very easy) and the put it back together nice and tight, but it still leaks --- anyone had this problem?
 
Thanks I will check both. My next thought was a sticking float valve -- was going to break into that next, unless it is unlikely?
 
A stuck float shouldn't cause the shutoff valve to leak. Although, the fuel may be coming out the vent or the throat of the carb and running down, making the valve appear to be leaking.
