I have a 2006 merc 50 ELPTO outboard on my pontoon. My problem is I will be cruising at 15-20 mph and all of a sudden I will loose thrust power and RPM's will shoot up. Nothing on the prop?
I hoping this is a minor fix. Gears on prop and horizontal shaft look good. motor can't have 150 hrs on it.
