On my 2000 5.0L GXI, the fuel line is attached to the High Pressure Pump via a brass fitting. It is 7/8" O.D., 3/8" I.D. female attaching to the fuel line end, with. 1/4" O.D. threaded nipple screwing into the pump housing. The fitting is OEM, not available through Volvo or the pump manufacturer. The threads are not standard, and so far I cannot locate fittings that allow attachment (seating)without leaks, partly due to thread issues, partly due the nipple/nut dimensions.
I'm hoping for some ideas or work arounds....or a salvaged fitting, or names and numbers of salvage/used part suppliers. Any one?
