OMC Stern 3.8l stalls after warm up...

Hello Mates.. so heres the story... at the beggining of spring decided to get the boat ready for summer it was stalling before so I drained the tank into a clear large tupper ware .. holds 15 gallons... it had almost an inch of water in it I did not return the fuel it was used in my truck... new gas filters Brass one in carb and paper one inside the water seperator well it still stall out... so I rebuilt the carb figured hey crud in there right well kinda clean and still stall out after shes warm....hoping somebody has had this problem or can enlighten towards my next step.... 1983 Seaswirl OMC Sterndrive 3.8l with a rochester 2G

guessing that you need a new carb.
