Volvo penta steering problem

Good day all. I have a 1985 sun seeker 28 with twin Volvo penta aq145a petrol engins, my problem is,
the steering tube/ram has given up the ghost and is no longer in production, I have searched and searched for a replacement with no luck. Am at a loss where to go from hear. Any help or advice would be a great help.

Ayuh,.... Is this Hydraulic steerin',..?? or Cable,..??
