choke will come on but wont go off on a 1975 85hp johnson.i push key switch choke works but stays on.i got a used choke cylinoid on it.but the one on it did same thing.engine wont start w out choke.any ideas please.
 
Disconnect the red/yellow wire on the terminal block and install it on the blue wire terminal going to the choke. That way the only time the choke will work is when you hit the choke switch. There was an OMC service bulletin on this years ago.
