Ok I have a 2010 40 hp 4 str mercury with a new merc remote control that has a 14 pin harness sticking out of it. Does anyone know if the wires that come with the controller are the only wires I need for installing a mercmonitor? I know I would need at least a 3 ft cable from the remote to gauges. But not sure on the rest. Would I need to run a can data as well? Any help would be appreciated.
