1988 Yamaha 2 stroke 30 hp precision blend tiller.
the electric starter button is not working. Hasn't for a long time.
My brother hooked up an on off switch directly to the solenoid and it fires right up and pees. Forward and reverse work. I'm not real familiar with electronics but with this information can someone please tell me what may be wrong. My brother and dad can help, but I first would like some suggestions on what to look for. Thanks
