Is there any linkage or other such things that have to be disconnected to drop the foot? Any tips talk can pass on for this to go easiest possible. I have done this job on older model Johnsons. Thanks

I believe you have to disconnect the shift shaft before you can drop the leg.?
beat to leave one bolt in place until the shift shaft nuts are disconnected
 
The shift shafts on the BF130 are splined together(no nuts like the smaller Hondas) so the leg just drops out.
Make sure when refitting the leg that the splines are aligned with each other e.g. both blank splines facing forward(neutral).
