1991 DT2 timing

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to set the timing on a dt2 with a cdi ignition. I ordered the service manual but it won't be here till next week and I wanted to get it going.

Ok, so I figured it all out. First off the engine I have is a 93, second the timing is not adjustable on these motors. The. Only thing you can adjust is the cdi to flywheel gap. I finally got the engine running properly, it was running to lean so I had to move the needle clip one notch lower and it now runs great. Idles at low rpm and doesn't hesitate when you rev it up.
