Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise?

I have 1989 OMC King Cobra 262's, the starboard engines needs to be replaced. I am planning on buying a long block.
The port engine is a 262 AMLMED.
I can't read the starboard engine number, I think it may be 262 APRMED.
My question is which engine is clockwise and which one is counter-clockwise?
I don't want to buy the wrong long block, or does it even make a difference.
Your answers are always appreciated.

I belive that OMC was known for using standard LH rotation engines, and same hand props for twin engine applications using the Cobra drive.
Not sure about the KC drives.

If these are KC Cone Clutch drives, both engines will be standard LH rotation.

If theres is a REV RH engine, it will typicallly be the Starboard engine.

Look at post #4 in this thread to help you determine if one is REV RH rotation.

Thanks for the reply Bondo - feeling a little more comfortable.
But I'm still a little doubtful - still hoping for a positive confirmation before I buy the long block.

BTW - Thanks to you and Ricardo for providing your input - it is very much appreciated.

OMC never used counter-rotating engines in their sterndrive setups. ever.
Counterclockwise at flywheel end just like a car is what you have.
