My 1992 Yamaha 55 hp engine has a oil leak from around the propeller shaft or hub. The oil is very thin and black. Could this be from excess gas being pumped in the the engine from priming or could it be something else. The reason I say excess gas is because sometimes the primer bulb doesn't get tight. I just stop pumping and start it and a lots of black oil comes out with the water. But, then it stops and when I take it out it runs fine. What do you think it could be. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
