My boat motor is stuck in forward gear and will not shift into neutral or reverse. Is there a test with the blue and green wire which might identify the selector switch as the problem. Does anyone know what the problem might be up front. If anyone can help me out with news I would be grateful. Thanks Jay
 
Motor has to be running for it to shift.----Provide more details here.---Is there oil in the lower unit ?----Is it the correct oil ?----Is it contaminated with water ?---Was the motor running during your test ?
