Replacing VRO fuel pump on Evinrude 130 HP with standard fuel pump

I have a 1995 Evinrude 130 HP V4 2 stroke outboard that has a VRO fuel pump that needs replacement and I want to replace it with a standard fuel pump that pumps pre-mix oil and gas. What can I do to accomplish this? The pump I ordered was supposed to be compatible but the bolt pattern is different.
 
Low $$ advice is to take the VRO apart to see what is wrong.--Could be an easy fix.--------Then there are numerous standard fuel pumps that will work.----Try one ( 438559 ) from say a 1975 135 hp V-4 crossflow.---------I would go to the shelf in my shop and install one from say a 1966 model 100 hp as they pump plenty of fuel as well.
