2010 optimax 225

Hello, just purchased a Lund 1975 pro v that has a 225 optimax. Does it take two starting batteries?
Boat will also have humminbird electronics running off of these.
 
Mercury stopped listing them by year, so it is important to have the serial number.

What matters is that they are 1000cca batteries.

I would have one for the engine and one for the house.
